Our Green and Community Legacy at Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally 2025
The Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally wasn’t just a celebration of motorsport, it was a rally of purpose, people, and positive change. As the engines blazed through the dirt tracks of Kayunga, Women in Motorsport Uganda (WIM.UG) joined hands with partners and communities to make a lasting difference off the track.
Racing Towards a Greener Future
In a powerful show of environmental responsibility, WIM.UG spearheaded a tree-planting initiative along the Jinja–Iganga highway. This effort was made possible through a meaningful collaboration with:
- Eastern Motor Club (EMC)
- Segamu 14 Consult
- Rotaract Club of Makindye
- Roofings Uganda
- Stabex International
- Worldwide Movers
- Rally drivers and Motorsport fans

Together, we planted dozens of trees, not only to beautify the landscape but to restore green cover, combat climate change, and promote road safety through environmental preservation. Each tree symbolized a commitment one that motorsport can coexist with sustainability and contribute to Uganda’s environmental goals.
Fruit Trees for Families in Kayunga
Taking our green mission further, WIM.UG donated fruit-bearing trees to families in Kayunga District. These trees are more than just plants, they are a promise of long-term nutritional value, income potential, and ecological stability for the households that received them.
By empowering families to grow their own food, we are also contributing to community resilience and food security. It’s a simple, powerful way to connect motorsport with meaningful grassroots impact.
The Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally proved that motorsport is more than just a competition, it is a movement. Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and bold leadership, WIM.UG is reimagining what it means to participate in rallying.
As we accelerate into the future, we remain committed to ensuring every race leaves a legacy one of impact, inclusion, and inspiration.
