OBJECTIVES
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the ASSOCIATION shall be.
- Promote the Development of Women in Motorsport:
To provide a platform for discussions and initiatives aimed at improving the participation and representation of women in motorsport at all levels, while serving as a national advocacy group dedicated to empowering, promoting, sensitizing, and supporting the involvement of women in motorsport in Uganda. - Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:
To work or partner with national and international sports governing bodies and other relevant organizations to support and promote the involvement of girls and women in motorsport across all sectors, including administration, decision-making, technical roles, officiating, training, and competition. - Dispute Resolution Mechanism:
To establish constitutional means for resolving disputes that may arise between members, officials, or competitors within the ASSOCIATION. - Encourage Savings and Credit Systems:
To promote the establishment of savings and credit systems to help members solve their economic and social challenges, supported by the security guarantee of fellow members. - Address Issues Affecting Women in Motorsport:
To identify critical issues impacting women in motorsport and, where appropriate, recommend or design strategies for positive change. - Environmental Conservation and sustainability:
To promote and support eco-friendly initiatives that focus on environmental conservation and sustainability to mitigate pollution caused by the automobile industry. - Research into Barriers to Female Participation:
To promote research addressing the challenges that women face in motorsport and the barriers to their participation. - Community Engagement and Mobilization: To use initiatives that inspire, uplift and promote the wellbeing of girls, women and the community at large
- Create Opportunities for girls and Women in Motorsport:
To foster opportunities for girls and women to join, engage in, and benefit from motorsport while supporting their career and personal growth in the industry, and to educate them on the advantages and benefits of participating in motorsport. - Maintaining archives for legacy and learning:
To establish and preserve an archive of women’s contribution to motorsport in uganda, serving as a resource for inspiration, learning and research.
11.Creating online abuse Awareness:
To address issues emerging from cyber bullying and harassment targeting girls and women in motorsport by creating awareness and a support system.
12. Undertake Relevant Initiatives:
To engage in activities not explicitly outlined in the above objectives but which support the overall mission of the ASSOCIATION and contribute to achieving its goals.
